Laboratory
Sensenbrenner Hospital’s Laboratory provides both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services to support patient care. Our department is staffed by highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologists who work as part of the interdisciplinary health care team to perform a wide range of diagnostic tests that assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of medical conditions.

Sensenbrenner Hospital’s Laboratory is accredited by Accreditation Canada Diagnostics, meeting national standards for quality and safety.

On-call emergency laboratory services are available outside of regular operating hours.

How to Access Lab Services
Appointments are required for all outpatient testing. Once the Laboratory department has received and reviewed your referral, a booking clerk will contact you to schedule your appointment.​
​
At the time your appointment is booked, you will be advised of any special instructions to prepare for your appointment.
​
The day of your appointment, please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow enough time for registration. Please also ensure to bring your Health Card to your appointment. If your visit is related to a W.S.I.B. claim, please bring your claim number.
